Asian workers cover their heads with white scarves to protect themselves from the strong sun as they work at a construction site in the Saudi capital Riyadh on June 7, 2011. The Saudi Ministry of Labour has reminded construction firms of the law coming into effect this summer barring work in sun-exposed conditions from midday to 3 pm in July and August. The firms will be subject to fines of between SR3,000 (800 USD/545 Euro) to SR10,000 (2,660/ 1,800 Euros) for each offense, or closure for up to 30 days or permanent closure.
